“Teaching is a very noble profession that shapes the character, caliber, and future of an individual. If the people remember me as a good teacher that will be the biggest honour for me” A.P.J. Abdul Kalam

Dr. Swarup Narain Memorial Education & Research Society was founded with our steadfast commitment to develop and push boundaries of education, in terms of reach, beneficiaries, scope, purpose and
outcomes at all levels. It brings together experience of professionals in various fields, to contribute to progress of education outcomes for all stakeholders, be at local, state or national levels. Inspired by lofty ideals as outlined by the above quote from our former President, Dr. Kalam, the Swarup College of Education is striving to create new benchmarks in teachers training and education.

Against a national level literacy rate of 77.7 percent as of 2021, our state has lagged behind at 66.1 percent due to myriad of issues. One of the primary reasons for locating the Swarup College of Education away from the city was to bring professional quality teachers training to be accessible to rural and semi-rural regions. As we strongly believe, roots of socio-economic development are nurtured by good quality teachers – from primary to secondary to higher secondary education. It is at these foundation levels that the future generations of students will be molded to become responsible and capable citizens of tomorrow. And teachers will play a pivotal role in this advancement.

We have strived to create infrastructure, ambience and a strong faculty team to nurture, cultivate and foster an environment conducive to education, skill and attitude development; to imbibe values and ethics, strong cultural and nationalist roots among our students, while ensuring access to best in class technologies, methods, pedagogies and resources, to set new benchmarks in the field.

While meeting and in several instances, exceeding all requirements laid out by statutory bodies like the NCTE, University of Rajasthan and the Government, we are not standing still. We taking steps to be
compliant and ready for future changes and challenges; be it digital and online mode of learning or norms being framed under the National Education Policy (NEP), 2020. Quality assurance is a continuous
endeavor. Through valuable feedback and suggestions from multiple stakeholders, we are continuously updgrading, improving and refreshing all aspects to be proactive to changes and challenges of tomorrow.

We seek your support in this pious undertaking.
